Wireless Metro's suite of services is based on Fixed-Wireless and Fixed WiMAX Technology, offering wide-ranging, business-class network services designed to meet bandwidth requirements for companies of all sizes, with up to Gig E speeds. Fixed-WiMAX differs from Wi-Fi, which creates Internet "hot spots" in a much smaller range at private and commercial locations, in that it can provide more bandwidth, across a larger geographic area, with quality of service guarantees.
What is fixed wireless?
Just as a helicopter flies over a crowded interstate during rush hour, fixed-wireless networks avoid the "traffic jams" of hard-wired networks to stream high-speed data, voice and Internet services to customers with remarkable simplicity and reliability. Fixed-wireless services can be installed in a matter of days, and the network is extremely scalable, so customers have the ability to easily increase bandwidth on an on-demand basis.

Can I add additional bandwidth to a Wireless Metro connection?
Wireless metro offers scalable bandwidth - you can easily upgrade your connection with us by a phone call.
Is a Wireless Metro's connection secure?
Wireless Metro uses 128 bit AES Encryption.
Is Wireless Metro's service affected by weather?
We use a proprietary OS that compensates for atmospheric conditions.
What frequencies do you use?
Depending on the area and the applications we use 2,4, 5.8 and 3.65GHz spectrum.
Will a Wireless Metro signal interfere with other wireless signals?
No. We use highly focused antenna's, a proprietary operating system and each customer is tuned to a specific wireless frequency, which does not interfere with cell phones, wireless networks, radio signals, etc.
Is Wireless Metro satellite?
No. We have points of presence on tall buildings and towers in our service areas that reliably broadcast using military-grade radio signal to our customers while satellite providers use satellites orbiting the earth some 23,000 miles away.
How quickly can you install my service?
We've delivered service in an afternoon, but we typically install in 5 to 7 business days.
Are there any loop charges or taxes?
No - that's one of the great benefits of Wireless Metro. We built our network 1000 feet in the sky to avoid using the big telephone company's wires.
How much bandwidth can you provide?
We can provide anything from 3 Mbps to 20 Mbps in standard installation time, but we can also custom build a network up to 1 Gbps with the proper lead-time.
Is customer service available 24/7/365?

Does Wireless Metro do short-term or temporary service contracts?
We have worked with many companies to provide bandwidth on a short-term month to month basis.

Is Wireless Metro like a cell phone company?
No. We are a fixed wireless provider which is more robust and dependable than a cell phone service.
Does Wireless Metro Offer Residential Service?
Wireless Metro is a business internet provider. Our smallest connection is 3 Mbps but if you need business-class service at your residence and clear line of sight is available we will be happy to take care of you.
Why do I need to provide my Landlords information?
In order to gain access to the roof and comply will all insurance, installation & architectural requirements, Wireless Metro needs permission from the landlord.
